Read the guideWhy we give this away
Because the alternative is worse. Most of what is written about Great Danes online is either marketing by people selling puppies or confident nonsense from a forum in 2011. Raised feeders, calcium supplements, "rare" colours, running a six-month-old alongside a bicycle — all of that is still being repeated, and all of it harms dogs.
We would rather you knew the right answers even if you buy your puppy from somebody else. A better-informed Great Dane owner anywhere is a good outcome for the breed, and frankly it is the only kind of marketing we are comfortable doing.
